The Players Championship is finally here, and it’s happening in Florida at TPC Sawgrass. With tons of water in play, mounds of earth, lots of rough, and deep, pot bunkers, the course is set to challenge the golfers. So, buckle up and take notes on these DFS picks for The Players!

First up is Max Homa, who finished T14 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational last week, also held in Florida and on a difficult course. He ranks fifth in my custom, weighted model for this week’s event, and with a solid performance last year at The Players Championship, I’m confident he can step it up this year.

Next, we have Colin Morikawa, who looks amazing on paper with his impressive stats. He’s third in the field for driving accuracy and fifth in SG: Tee to Green, making him an excellent fit for TPC Sawgrass. Although his salary is quite high, he averages a solid 81 FPPG and is good to make the cut.

One of my favorite picks this week is Tom Kim, despite his lack of experience in big tournaments like The Players Championship. He ranks first in my models, regardless of how I arrange them, and boasts an excellent course fit, ranking fourth in the field for driving accuracy. His sand save percentage of 61% is one of the tops in the field, and at just $8.1K on DraftKings, he offers excellent value for a player who averages 83 FPPG.

Viktor Hovland is another solid choice, with impressive stats that place him 18th in my model. He’s great out of the rough, averages a score under 70 for each round, is 7th in SG: Off-The-Tee, and 5th in all-around driving. He’s a long and accurate player, which is a rare combination and makes him an excellent DFS pick for The Players.

Keith Mitchell ranks first in SG: Off-the-Tee and total driving in this field of talented players, making him a standout pick for The Players Championship. He’s been playing really well lately, with three Top 10 finishes and 9/11 cuts made. Although he doesn’t rank as high in weighted models, he’s still an excellent value at just $7.4K on DraftKings.

Chris Kirk is another solid pick, ranking 12th in my model and boasting impressive putting stats. He’s an excellent putter, ranking 1st in 3-putt avoidance and 2nd in a streak of play without a 3-putt. He also won the Honda Classic a couple of weeks ago, which is a major feat and shows his potential for success at The Players Championship.

Joel Dahmen may lack experience in big tournaments like The Players Championship, but he’s an excellent fit for the course, ranking 10th in Driving Accuracy in this field. He also boasts three Top 10 finishes and has made 8/11 cuts, making him an excellent value pick at just $6.8K on DraftKings.

Lastly, Matt Kuchar is one of my top picks for The Players Championship. He’s accurate off the tee and great around the green, boasting the top sand saves and scrambling stats in the field. Although he’s a bit pricier on DraftKings, he offers excellent value on FanDuel.

Other great DFS picks for The Players Championship include Scottie Scheffler, Patrick Cantlay, Sungja Im, SW Kim, Xander Schauffele, and Tyrrell Hatton. These players have shown great form leading up to The Players Championship and have the potential to make a big impact.

When it comes to DFS picks, it’s important to consider the course fit, player form, and value. TPC Sawgrass is known for being a challenging course, and players with strong driving accuracy and scrambling abilities tend to perform well here. It’s also important to consider recent form, as players who have been performing well in recent events may carry that momentum into The Players Championship.

Overall, these are my top DFS picks for The Players Championship. With a combination of skill, form, and value, these players have the potential to perform well and help you win big in DFS contests. So, buckle up and get ready for an exciting week of golf at TPC Sawgrass!
