The NASCAR Cup Series is gearing up for another exciting race this weekend, as the west coast swing continues in Las Vegas. In this article, we will provide you with a cheat sheet, core plays, and rankings for the upcoming event. We’ll also share some of our favorite plays in each price range and lineup construction strategies to help you create a winning lineup.

To increase your chances of winning, it’s important to have two or potentially three dominators in your tournament lineups. We recommend mixing and matching drivers to optimize your chances of hitting on the right ones. As we mentioned in our pre-qualifying article, we have seen more lap leaders with the Next Gen car than in previous seasons, so keep that in mind when making your picks.

For drivers priced at $10,000 and up, Kyle Larson is a top pick at $10,700. He’s starting 6th and has a history of performing well on tracks like Las Vegas. In practice, he unloaded a fast car and had impressive five and ten-lap averages, ranking only behind his teammate William Byron. Ross Chastain is another strong option at $10,300. He performed well at this track last year, and we expect Trackhouse to have another fast duo of cars this year.

For drivers priced at $8,000 and $9,000, William Byron is a solid pick at $9,100, starting 3rd. Although he may be a popular choice due to his practice data, he’s still one of our favorite dominators to pair with the aforementioned drivers. Tyler Reddick is another strong choice at $8,800, starting 34th. His team performed well at Kansas in 2022 (a similar track to Vegas), and he’s had success at Vegas in the past. While he may be popular, his place differential makes him a great choice. Bubba Wallace is also worth considering at $8,300, starting 13th. His team performed well at Kansas last year, and we expect him to have low ownership.

For drivers priced at $8,000 and below, Daniel Suarez is a great option at $7,600, starting 24th. We love Trackhouse for this race, and Suarez is a great place differential play to pair with Chastain. Ryan Preece is another strong choice at $7,200, starting 31st. He may be low owned for someone starting so far back, but we believe in his talent. Aric Almirola is a cheaper option at $6,400, starting 21st. He’s had solid results at Vegas in the past, including a sixth-place finish in the spring of last year. Finally, A.J. Allmendinger is a cheap option at $6,100, starting 23rd. He’s coming off a ninth-place finish at Vegas in the fall of last year, and we believe he can carry that momentum into this year’s race.

Here are some drivers to consider for cash games and GPPs:

Cash Game Drivers:

Kyle Larson ($10,700)
William Byron ($9,100)
Tyler Reddick ($8,800)
Bubba Wallace ($8,300)
Aric Almirola ($6,400)

GPP Drivers:

Ross Chastain ($10,300)
Daniel Suarez ($7,600)
Ryan Preece ($7,200)
A.J. Allmendinger ($6,100)

It’s important to note that these are just suggestions, and you should always do your own research and analysis before finalizing your picks. Good luck!
